Welcome
Into all the world
"...Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20)
Jesus left his followers with that one important task - the Great Commission. The early Church got on with the task with great success and enthusiasm. Some 2,000 years later, the job is still unfinished. The world's population on 31 December 2000 was 6,118,958,932. Of that 6.12 billion around 11% of the world's population claim to know Jesus as their personal Saviour.
The rate of increase is around 7% annually. That's wonderful, but means millions across the world still need to hear the Gospel. God's left the job in our hands.
Through the ministry of Steve Legg and the Breakout Trust we currently reach millions each year through radio and television work, books, videos, tracts and out on the road. We recognise that we are totally dependent on God if the things we do are to have any lasting effect.
